Chris Van Geystel

Chris Van Geystel is the Chief of Flight Safety for Boeing Test & Evaluation, bringing extensive experience as an aviation safety manager. They previously held multiple roles at Boeing, including Senior Flight Operations Safety Official and Acting SMS Manager, where they focused on Safety Management Systems and emergency response planning. Their earlier career includes working as a Business Process Analyst at Lockheed Martin and various roles in flight operations. Chris earned a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
