David Vargas

David Vargas is an experienced aerospace professional currently serving as the Requirements & Verification Lead at Boeing, where responsibilities include leading a team in the development of requirements management for a proprietary MILSATCOM program. With a robust background as a Spacecraft Systems Engineer at Boeing and previous roles in various aerospace projects, David has a track record of enhancing program quality and collaborating effectively with clients and engineering teams. As the Founder and Managing Director of the non-profit Astranavem, David focuses on space career coaching and technical training for underrepresented minorities in Latin America and the Caribbean. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a minor in Engineering Project Management from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Space Systems Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University.
