Jacob Bowen

Jacob Bowen has extensive experience at Boeing, having served in various senior leadership roles since February 1997, including Senior Director of Engineering for BCA Airplane Systems and Director/Chief Engineer for Airplane Systems from June 2015 to April 2021. Jacob's responsibilities encompass overseeing technical aspects of airplane systems, establishing organizational goals, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive oversight and continuous improvement. Previously, Jacob led significant programs such as the 787 Propulsion Airplane Development team and the FedEx 767 Customer Introduction program. With a solid educational background in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona, Jacob has built a robust career in aerospace engineering, driving performance improvements and mentoring future leaders within the industry. Jacob also has experience at Ford Motor Company as an Instrument Technician prior to joining Boeing.
