Nathan Ashmore is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in materials and processes, currently serving as an Associate Technical Fellow at Boeing since February 2008. Ashmore's expertise includes next generation metallic alloys, metallic additive manufacturing materials, and ceramics for extreme environments, having held roles such as Manager of Metals & Ceramics Technology and Engineer in Materials Processes & Physics. Prior to Boeing, Ashmore worked as a Manufacturing Specialist in Casting Engineering at Toyota, focusing on optimizing processes and equipment installation, and also gained experience as an engineering intern at TDK. Ashmore holds a Master’s degree in Materials Science & Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from Iowa State University, along with a Graduate Certificate in Lean Six Sigma from Missouri University of Science & Technology.
