Torbjorn Sjogren

VP, International Government & Defense, Global Services at Boeing

Torbjorn (Turbo) Sjogren is vice president of Boeing’s International Government and Defense organization, which unites Boeing’s full international defense portfolio – across platforms and services. He is responsible for the growth and execution of international defense business, including overseeing subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, Australia, India and Saudi Arabia.

Sjogren’s current role expands on his previous work as vice president of International Government Services (IGS) for Boeing Global Services. Working across commercial and defense markets, IGS provides focused, value-based solutions to meet the services needs of customers around the world, regardless of the aircraft’s manufacturer. Sjogren is also vice president of Program Management for Boeing Global Services.

Since joining Boeing in 1996, Sjogren has held multiple leadership positions, including leading Air Force (AF) Fighters and Aircraft Sustainment in the company’s former Global Services & Support (GS&S) business. Platforms in this portfolio included support for the U.S. Air Force on the F-15, A-10, F-22, T-38 and the QF-16 aerial target. Additionally, this organization offered F-15 upgrades and long-term sustainment solutions for F-15 customers in the Middle East and eastern Asia, such as Saudi Arabia and Japan.

Sjogren also has been vice president of Global Modifications & Upgrades, vice president of International Operations & Compliance, vice president of International Support Systems, Lead Counsel to GS&S and Corporate International Counsel. Prior to joining Boeing, Sjogren specialized in international commercial, corporate and regulatory law at Sher & Blackwell as well as Dow, Lohnes and Albertson in Washington, D.C.

Sjogren holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and a Juris Doctorate from Tulane Law School in New Orleans.
