Vaidhyanathan Ramamoorthy

Vaidhyanathan (YD) Ramamoorthy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in aerospace engineering and project management. Currently serving as the Manager of the 777-9 certification within the Aircraft level Integration team at Boeing since October 2022, Ramamoorthy oversees Type Inspection Authorization and ATC activities while ensuring system readiness and coordinating regulatory reviews across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Prior to Boeing, Ramamoorthy held various significant roles at RECARO Aircraft Seating, including Principal Engineer and Senior Manager, Development Engineering, where responsibilities included managing multi-functional teams and executing aircraft seating programs. Previous experience includes certification-focused positions at Weber Aircraft LLC and engineering internships at Ashok Leyland. Ramamoorthy holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Material Science from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
