Ashley Lawson

Ashley Lawson is a Program Analyst at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management since December 2024. Prior to this role, Lawson served as a Textile Compliance Officer at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, focusing on compliance with consumer product safety laws. During academic tenure at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Lawson held leadership positions as a Senator in the Student Government Association and contributed as a Residential Advisor and writer for campus publications. Additional experience includes internships at the United States Senate, Office of Governor Polis in Colorado, REVVV SWIM, and Fashion Launchpad, where Lawson gained expertise in communications, marketing, and social media. Lawson holds a BS in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a Professional Certificate in Textile Fundamentals at North Carolina State University.
