Chris Bijan Hatamian

Chris Bijan Hatamian is a skilled geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a geologist at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management since September 2014, Chris specializes in geological and geophysical evaluations, risk analysis, and seismic interpretation within the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Prior roles include work at Rainier Minerals Corp., where Chris interpreted 3D seismic data, and Enquest Oil and Gas, where Chris identified exploration prospects. Chris also interned at Linc Energy Operations, Inc., generating targets for exploratory drilling, and was part of the Imperial Barrel Award Team at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, focusing on basin assessment. Chris holds a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Louisiana State University.
