Jessica S. has extensive experience in environmental policy and management, currently serving as the Chief of the Environment Branch for Renewable Energy at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management since February 2009. In this role, Jessica S. has also held several acting positions, including Chief of the Engineering and Technical Review Branch and Chief of Staff to the BOEM Director. Previous roles include Policy Analyst, Project Coordinator, and Acting Chief of the Renewable Energy Section at the Pacific Regional Office. Prior to joining the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Jessica S. worked as an Environmental Analyst at BAE Systems and as a QC Analyst at MedImmune. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Environmental Studies from Washington College.
