Bert Maat (drs) has a diverse background and extensive work experience in various managerial roles. Bert is currently serving as the Managing Director of McCain site Lelystad, where they oversee the plant's operations. Prior to this, Bert held the role of Associate Partner CEO/COO at Boer & Croon, where they specialized in transformational projects and strategic changes. In previous positions, Bert has served as a Director for Accell Nederland B.V., leading all operational units and managing two factories and a logistics center. Bert was also a Venture Leader and Project Manager for The Chemours Company, responsible for reorganizing and leading the Manufacturing Technology department. Additionally, Bert has held roles such as COO, Director of Operations, and Strategic Project Manager in various companies including Oerlikon Eldim, Synerlogic B.V., FrieslandCampina, Royal IHC, and Liander. Throughout their career, Bert has demonstrated their expertise in achieving breakthrough results and driving positive change within organizations.
Bert Maat (drs) completed their Master's degree in Bedrijfskunde from Radboud University from 1984 to 1990. Bert also studied HBO Personeelswerk from 1977 to 1981 at Windesheim. Additionally, they pursued a degree in Werktuigbouw from 1972 to 1976. In 2006 and 2007, they obtained certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt from Indiana University Bloomington.
