Lode Ceyssens

Lode Ceyssens has extensive experience in both political and organizational roles. Currently serving as President and Ondervoorzitter at Boerenbond since September 2021, Ceyssens previously held the position of Vlaams volksvertegenwoordiger at the Vlaams Parlement from January 2009 to September 2021. A dedicated public servant, Ceyssens was the Mayor of Meeuwen-Gruitrode for many years, also serving as 1e Schepen and Gemeenteraadslid. Additional experience includes working as a beleidsmedewerker for ministers Hilde Crevits and Kris Peeters, and serving as a Provincieraadslid for Provincie Limburg from 2000 to 2009. Ceyssens held various leadership roles in the non-profit sector and began a career as a Process Engineer at Procter & Gamble. Educational qualifications include a degree in Industrieel Ingenieur from Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen.
