Mary Timby serves as the Director of Communications at Bohemian Foundation since March 2016, where responsibilities include enhancing the organization's visibility and managing its reputation with stakeholders. Previously, Mary held the position of Communications Program Manager and Communications Coordinator at the same organization, focusing on integrated marketing strategies, digital communications, and media relations. Earlier experience includes roles as Outreach Coordinator for EcoCar, Graduate Teaching Assistant and Video Creation Course Instructor at Colorado State University, and various positions at Rocky Mountain Student Media Corp., including Station Manager and News Director. Mary began a career in media with an internship at Denver7 - The Denver Channel and also gained experience in classroom instruction with Poudre School District. Mary holds an M.S. in Public Communication and Technology and a B.A. in Journalism and Technical Communication from Colorado State University.

Bohemian Foundation is committed to working with our fellow community members on the care and improvement of our local, national, and global communities. Bohemian Foundation was founded in 2001 by Pat Stryker to continue her family tradition of making the world a better place. Our vision for the future is inspired by the legacy started by Pat’s family and we take inspiration for our name, Bohemian Foundation, from the bohemian movement in Paris in the early 1900s. The Bohemians believed there is something greater within each individual and that meeting one’s potential has worth and dignity. Like the Bohemians, we believe in imagination, creativity, innovation and spirit. We look to our community to be receptive to the transformational effects of open-mindedness, to be willing to take risks and to be ready to learn. We are actively seeking creative ways of working in our community by involving our fellow citizens and organizations in working together, leaving the world a better place.
