John Kucera

John Kucera is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in criminal law and litigation. Currently serving as a Partner at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP since August 2020, Kucera previously held significant roles at the U.S. Department of Justice from May 2008 to August 2020, including Assistant United States Attorney and Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Criminal Division. Prior to that, Kucera worked as Assistant Chief Counsel at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from August 2006 to April 2008, and served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois from July 2005 to July 2006. Kucera began a legal career as an Assistant States Attorney at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office from April 2003 to June 2005.
