Walt Shaw

Walt Shaw has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Walt is currently working as the Sr. Director of Product at Boingo Wireless, where they lead product strategy. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Consultant at a Stealth Startup from 2020 to 2020. Before that, they took a sabbatical and served as a Community Volunteer x Globe Trekker from 2019 to 2020. From 2007 to 2019, they had a long tenure at Cisco, where they held various roles such as Director of Product Management and Senior Product Line Manager, focusing on security, cloud, SaaS, IoT, and wireless. Similarly, at Juniper Networks from 2005 to 2007, they were a Senior Product Manager focusing on product strategy, cyber and network security, and network management. Walt also worked at Visto Corporation from 2003 to 2005, leading business development efforts in web services and device ecosystem, closing revenue deals with notable companies.

Walt Shaw has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business. Walt also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Santa Clara University.
