Olof Eggestig

Olof Eggestig is an experienced information security professional currently serving as an Informationssäkerhetsexpert at Bolagsverket since September 2022. Previously, Olof held the position of Chief Risk Officer at Försäkringskassan from January 2020 to September 2022, where responsibilities included acting as Chief Risk Manager for the IT department. Olof's tenure at Försäkringskassan also includes serving as the Director of Information Security (CISO) from 2007 to 2019, during which time management of national security within the organization was undertaken from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, Olof led IT security at Uppsala University from August 2001 to August 2007 and directed security affairs at Mid Sweden University from June 1984 to August 2001, holding overall responsibility for all aspects of security. Olof has academic credentials from Mid-Sweden University, where studies were completed between 2002 and 2004.
