Calvin Manalansan

Calvin Manalansan has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering and technical support. Calvin began their career as a Technical Support Representative at Convergys in 2014 and worked there until 2016. Calvin then joined IWG plc as a Network Engineer from 2016 to 2017, where they handled network calls and inquiries, diagnosed issues, and managed ISP requirements. In 2017, Calvin joined Pomeroy and held two roles. Calvin first served as a Tier 3 Network Operations Center Engineer, handling priority 1 network calls, monitoring network systems, and providing timely responses to incidents. Later, they became a Tech lead Subject Matter Expert Tier 3 NOC, acting as the point of escalation for technical issues, conducting training, and facilitating audits for ticket handling improvements. In 2019, Calvin joined Bold Business as a Network Engineer Team Lead, where they currently work.

Calvin Manalansan completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their degree, Calvin has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Calvin became a Cisco Certified Network Associate in January 2016. Later, in October 2017, they obtained the certification of Certified Meraki Network Operator from Cisco Meraki. Furthermore, in February 2020, Calvin achieved the NSE 1 Network Security Associate certification from Fortinet, followed by the NSE 2 Network Security Expert certification in March 2020. Lastly, in March 2020, they also obtained the Certified Meraki Network Associate certification from Cisco Meraki.
