Jim Pankovich

Jim Pankovich has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical research and drug development. Jim currently serves as the EVP of Clinical Development at Bold Therapeutics Inc. since October 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Clinical Operations & Drug Development at Qu Biologics Inc. from May 2015 to September 2021.

From September 2009 to May 2015, Jim served as the Chief Scientific Officer at CIHR Canadian HIV Trials Network. Jim also worked as the Sr. Director of Clinical Research at MIGENIX Inc. from February 2005 to August 2009 and as the Associate Director of Clinical Research at Inex Pharmaceuticals from February 2002 to January 2005.

In their earlier career, Jim held the role of Vice President of Operations & Clinical Research at CV Technologies Inc. from October 2000 to January 2002. Prior to that, they worked in various clinical operations roles at Seattle Genetics (Seagen), AltaRex, and Biomira from October 1993 to September 2000. Jim began their career as a Research Technologist at the University of Alberta from October 1991 to September 1993.

Jim Pankovich obtained an MSc. in Experimental Medicine from the University of Alberta in 1991. Jim furthered their education at Queen's University where they earned an MBA in 2008.
