Soumeya Abed

Soumeya Abed is a highly experienced professional with a background in biotechnology and biotherapies. Currently serving as a MITACS Research Fellow at Bold Therapeutics Inc., Soumeya also co-founded and directs the Symbiosis co-housing Program, a successful initiative that matches students with seniors in Hamilton and surrounding areas. With a strong academic background, including a PhD in Biotechnology and Biotherapies from Université Paris Cité, Soumeya has also held various teaching and research positions at institutions such as McMaster University and University of Cambridge. Passionate about education and science communication, Soumeya has made significant contributions in the field of genetics and developmental biology throughout their career.
