Rajender Sharma

Rajender Sharma has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Rajender currently holds the role of Vice President of Engineering at BOLD, where they work closely with business, marketing, and growth leadership to define data and platform strategies. Rajender is also responsible for building and nurturing teams that develop scalable and reliable applications in the e-commerce and digital product domains.

Prior to their current role, Rajender worked as the Senior Director of Engineering at BOLD, leading platform engineering for all product offerings. Rajender played a crucial role in resource planning, hiring, and talent development, as well as defining product quality and roadmap for the platform engineering. Rajender also contributed to system architecture, tools, technologies, and automation frameworks.

Prior to joining BOLD, Rajender worked at LiveCareer as an Engineering Manager, where they designed, developed, and implemented a payment and subscription system capable of processing international credit card transactions. Rajender was also responsible for creating a tracking system for analytical and real-time application processing.

Before LiveCareer, Rajender worked at Livecareer/Tabaha Infotech as a Technical Lead, where they managed the design and development aspects of core products for various platforms. Rajender also established best practices for development and testing, translating business requirements into feature specifications. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Engineer, creating ASP website pages using VB.Net and SQL for a career test website.

Throughout their career, Rajender has demonstrated their expertise in engineering leadership, team management, system architecture, and product development.

Rajender Sharma completed their Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering (Data Analytics) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, between 2013 and 2016. Rajender also obtained a certification in Leadership Excellence from Dale Carnegie Training in 2018.
