Amy Schultz has a diverse work experience that spans over multiple industries and roles. Amy co-founded Bolder Money in 2020, where they focus on providing financial coaching and guidance to underserved individuals. Prior to that, they founded SmartGirlMoney in 2018, where they helped women transform their mindset about work and money. Earlier in their career, Amy worked as an Actuary at Mercer from 2011 to 2018.

Amy Schultz earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Economics and Finance from Baldwin Wallace University, which they attended from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include becoming an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) from AFCPE® (Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education®) in May 2023, a Group Coach Facilitator from Group Coaching HQ in June 2021, a Certified Money Coach (CMC) from The Money Coaching Institute in June 2020, and a Financial Coach from Financial Coach Academy in June 2019. Amy also earned the title of GHC22 Speaker from AnitaB.org in August 2022 and became an Associate of the Society of Actuaries from the Society of Actuaries in May 2016.
