Janet Brewer

Janet Brewer is an accomplished communications and marketing strategist with extensive experience leading integrated communications for major organizations. Currently serving as a Communications and Marketing Strategist at Boldsquare since February 2020, Janet provides strategic counsel to executive leadership teams on navigating growth and crisis. In addition, Janet operates J Brewer Consulting and previously held significant roles such as SVP and Chief Communications and Marketing Officer at the Tennessee Valley Authority, where leadership responsibilities included brand and reputation enhancement. Janet's experience spans over three decades, including positions as VP Communications at NCR and Director of Community and Public Relations at Reynolds and Reynolds. Educational qualifications include a BA in Journalism and Public Relations from Eastern Kentucky University and a Certificate in Corporate Community Relations from Boston College.
