Sami Ojanen

Sami Ojanen is an experienced mining professional with a robust background in mine planning and project evaluation. Currently serving as Head of Section for Mine Planning at Boliden's Kevitsa Mine since May 2010, Sami previously held the role of Senior Mining Engineer at Boliden's office. Prior experience includes working as a Mine Planning Engineer at Dragon Mining, focusing on the Svartliden Mine, and at ScanMining Oy for the Pahtavaara Mine. Earlier roles at Boliden included Project Engineer and Mine Planning Engineer at the Aitik and Laisvall mines, respectively. Sami Ojanen holds a Master of Science degree in Rock Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
