Marten Schmidt

Marten Schmidt has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Marten is currently serving as the After Sales Director at Bollegraaf and Lubo Recycling Solutions since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Stork, a Fluor company, where they held various positions such as Director Procurement and Resource Planning, Director Operational Excellence, and Director Specialized Services. Marten also served as the Chairman of Duurswold Golfclub for nearly a decade. Marten was a Member of the Board at CASOS, representing contractors working for Shell/NAM, and was also the Maintenance Manager at GLT-PLUS, a joint venture of Stork, Jacobs, Siemens, and Yokogawa. Marten started their career at Stork Technical Services and held roles like Business Improvement Manager and Business Unit Manager E&I. Before that, they had various technical positions in the (petro) chemical industry at Stork Industry Services.

Marten Schmidt attended the Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, they studied at the TIAS School for Business and Society from 2010 to 2011, focusing on SLD (Stork Leadership Development).
