Joe Gimse has extensive experience in client services and government affairs, currently working at Bollig Engineering since January 2013, where responsibilities include developing client relationships in civil engineering and architectural services. Prior to this role, Joe served as Vice President and Owner at Gimse Brothers Inc. from May 2000 to January 2013, focusing on administration, sales, and land development. Joe was also a Minnesota State Senator from January 2007 to December 2012, chairing the Senate Transportation Committee and participating in various committees related to budget and policy. Earlier in Joe's career, experience included roles as a welder and pipeline maintenance professional at Northern Natural Gas and as a wheeled vehicle mechanic in the U.S. Army. Educational achievements include a Two Year Certificate in Supervisor Management from Ridgewater College and an AAS Degree in Automotive Technology from Willmar Vocational School.
