Zafer Karakas

Zafer Karakas is a Structural Engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently serving at Bollinger+Grohmann since September 2022. Prior roles include Structural Engineer at Must Engineering Consultancy from July 2021 to June 2022 and Structural Project Engineer at EFK Engineering, where contributions were made to the Arctic LNG 2 Project in Murmansk, Russia. Zafer also held the position of Structural Project Engineer at Limak Group of Companies, working on significant projects such as the Kuwait International Airport - Terminal II and related infrastructure. Earlier experience includes a Tübitak Project Assistant role at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi and a trainee position at TAV Construction. Zafer holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi, alongside a minor in Entrepreneurship and an international exchange program at Iowa State University.
