Vincent Liu

Vincent Liu, EIT, is an accomplished Engineer I specializing in structural engineering at Seaspan ULC since June 2023. Previously, Vincent led a 65-member design team as Team Captain for UBC AeroDesign, successfully developing an electrical uncrewed aircraft that won at the SAE Aero Design Competition. With a strong leadership background, Vincent served as Chief Engineer and Regular Class Co-Captain, guiding a 38-member project team to two first-place finishes at the SAE Aero Design East competition. Vincent's engineering experience encompasses roles across multiple companies, including LAPORTE, where Vincent developed refrigeration systems, and various internships at Seaspan ULC focusing on outfitting and manufacturing engineering for maritime projects. Vincent holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering with an Aerospace Specialization from The University of British Columbia.
