Mark Abramowitz has extensive experience in environmental consulting and policy development, currently serving as President of Community Environmental Services since 1985. Known for expertise in air quality, Community Environmental Services offers a range of consulting services to various clients. Abramowitz is also an Advisory Board Member at the Bolsa Chica Conservancy and has held significant roles within the California Hydrogen Business Council, including Immediate Past President and Board Member. Additional positions include Board Consultant for SCAQMD and Senior Consultant for Technology Transition Corporation, along with various leadership roles in local water and energy organizations. Abramowitz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ecosystems from UCLA.

Bolsa Chica Conservancy
The Bolsa Chica Conservancy is a volunteer-driven, private, non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and connecting all generations through community involvement and hands-on education in coastal ecology, wetland science, and environmental conservation. The Conservancy currently operates its programs from a temporary modular facility on the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve in Huntington Beach, California. Founded in 1990, the Conservancy offers science-based and standards-aligned classes and guided tours, educational exhibits and displays, research, restoration of degraded wetland and upland habitats, and propagation of native plants for use in restoration projects.
