Joakim Leijon

Joakim Leijon is the Founder and CEO of Foxtail Ventures, a company focused on investing in early-stage tech startups since January 2014. In addition to this role, Joakim serves as an investor in Bolt, a platform connecting retailers and millions of shoppers, and Gimi AB, an app that educates children on money management. Joakim previously founded and chaired Whispr Group, a SaaS Insights company, from 2009 to 2023, and was an early investor and advisor at Tipser, which was acquired by Bolt in 2021. Additional experience includes board membership at AdProfit, advisory roles at GuidePal, and leadership as Managing Director North America at Pronto Communication AB. Joakim's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Business with a major in marketing from Stockholm University and multiple bachelor’s degrees from Lund University in Finance and Business.
