Abby Williams, P.E., has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Abby started their career as a Field Research Assistant at Davidson College Environmental Studies Department in 2014, conducting geological surveys and analyzing soil profiles. In 2015, they became a Lab Research Assistant at the same department, where they conducted analytical tests on soils and managed data. In the same year, they also interned as a Water Treatment Intern at CH2M, where they researched and maintained environmental regulatory compliance.

In 2018, Abby joined SEPI, Inc. as a Transportation Intern and later became a full-time Transportation Designer. During their time at SEPI, they gained experience in transportation design and project management. Currently, Abby is working at Bolton & Menk, Inc. as a Civil Design Engineer and Civil Project Engineer.

Abby Williams, P.E. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on Geology/Earth Science from Davidson College in 2016. Abby then pursued further education and earned their Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) degree in Civil Engineering/Transportation from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte between 2017 and 2019. In 2014, Abby also participated in the Environmental Science of the Arctic program at DIS - Study Abroad.

In addition to their formal education, Abby Williams obtained the certification of Engineer [Intern] (EI) from the NCEES in October 2019.
