Jacob Yushta

Jacob Yushta has a diverse work experience in the construction and municipal sectors. Jacob is currently working as a Senior Construction Project Representative at Bolton & Menk, Inc. since April 2022, where they are involved in various aspects of the design and construction process for transportation and municipal projects. Their responsibilities include observing construction work for conformance with plans and specifications, coordinating with project stakeholders, and documenting the construction work.

Prior to their current role, Jacob worked for the City of Saint Peter, MN from May 2011 to January 2022 as an Infrastructure Technician. In this position, they operated and maintained the stormwater collection system, collected GIS data, and enforced and educated the city's NPDES stormwater permit.

Jacob also has experience working as the Interim Maintenance Superintendent at the City of Saint Peter from August 2019 to March 2020. Jacob previously served as a Water Operator at Marshall Municipal Utilities from September 2010 to May 2011, and as a Pipelayer and Equipment Operator at Southern Minnesota Construction from May 2003 to November 2008.

Their earliest work experience was as a Laborer/Pipelayer at Selly Construction from April 2002 to November 2002.

Jacob Yushta obtained a Diploma of Education in Water Quality and Wastewater Treatment Management and Recycling Technology/Technician from St Cloud Technical and Community College, where they studied from 2009 to 2010. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified Wastewater Operator (Class C) from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency in June 2021, Construction Installer and Construction Site Management from the University of Minnesota in September 2020, and Water Supply Operator (Class B) from the Minnesota Department of Health in March 2019. Jacob has also received certifications in Concrete Field, Bituminous Street, Grade and Base, and Aggregate Production from the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Furthermore, they completed the MMUA Frontline Supervision/Leadership program at Central Lakes College.
