Kelsey Fritze, EIT has a diverse work experience spanning various engineering roles and internships. They are currently employed as a Project Engineer at Bolton & Menk, Inc. starting from June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at AMT Engineering as an Engineer from November 2017 to June 2022, where they focused on site design and stormwater management. Their responsibilities included erosion and sediment control design, stormwater management facility design, parking lot and trail design, SWPPP applications, site and detailed grading, utility design, and obtaining permits for stormwater/land disturbance.
In addition, Kelsey previously worked as an Intern in the Wind Group at Mortenson from May 2016 to August 2016. They also served as an Engineering Technician Intern at KLJ Engineering from January 2016 to May 2016. Before that, Kelsey gained practical experience as a Co-Op at NDDOT from May 2015 to August 2015, where they assisted in inspection activities for highway reconstruction projects, including pipe installation and concrete pours.
Kelsey also has experience in the public sector, having worked as an Engineering Department Inspection Intern at the City of Fargo in the summer of 2014. Additionally, they served as a Residence Assistant at NDSU's Department of Residence Life from August 2012 to May 2014, where they provided support to students in a housing environment.
Prior to their engineering career, Kelsey held various retail and service positions. They worked as a Retail Clerk at Trading Post from June 2009 to January 2014, and as a Cabin Cleaner/Housekeeper at Norway Hills Resort from June 2008 to August 2013.
