Michael Cole Sr. has had an extensive career in the field of landscape architecture and land planning. Michael started their career at Odell Associates Inc. in 1979, where they served as the Director of Land Planning until 1988. In 1988, they founded the firm ColeJenest&Stone, P.A. and served as its Founding Partner until 2015. From 2016 to 2018, they were the President of MICHAEL COLE CAMPUS PLANNING. In 2018, they joined ColeJenest & Stone | Bolton & Menk Inc. as a Business Development professional, a role they held until 2021 when they joined Bolton & Menk, Inc. in the same capacity. Throughout their career, Michael Cole Sr. has been actively involved in various aspects of business development and has made significant contributions to the field of landscape architecture and land planning.

Michael Cole Sr., FASLA, PLA, LEED AP attended North Carolina State University from 1974 to 1979, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture (BEDLA).
