Marie-Claude Lavoie is the current director at BOMA QUEBEC. Marie-Claude has held this position since April 2018. Prior to this, they were the director of the Montreal city's real estate management and planning from November 2015 to April 2018. Her responsibilities included overseeing a multidisciplinary team responsible for providing the city's services and boroughs with the necessary buildings while ensuring a competitive real estate portfolio on the market. Marie-Claude also followed up on municipal decisions regarding the purchase, sale, rental, renovation, and construction of buildings to meet the needs of services and boroughs. In addition, they provided services and expertise in building security and maintenance to allow various units of the City of Montreal to provide adequate and safe facilities for citizens and employees. From June 2008 to November 2010, they were the head of the Laval Transit Corporation's garage expansion project. From October 2005 to June 2008, they were superintendent of the central sector of the University of Montreal's buildings department. And from December 2010 to November 2015, they were director of project management at the Quebec Infrastructure Society.

Marie-Claude Lavoie has a Doctorate in engineering from the École de technologie supérieure. Marie-Claude also has two masters degrees, one in environmental engineering from the École de technologie supérieure and one in education from Université du Québec à Montréal. Marie-Claude also has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Université du Québec à Montréal and a Diploma in Building Mechanics from Cégep de Jonquière.
