Dave Thomas is an experienced aircraft design engineer currently serving as the Section Chief for Wing Design Engineering at Bombardier since April 2020. Prior to this role, Dave retired from Triumph Aerostructures - Vought Aircraft Division, where work was focused as an Aircraft Design & Liaison Engineer from January 2018 to April 2020, specifically as a liaison MRB Engineer on the Bombardier Wing program. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri - Rolla and the Missouri University of Science and Technology, completed between 1979 and 1981.
