Chief Data Privacy Officer & General Counsel at Bombora

In her dual role with Bombora, Havona leads all legal activities and manages its privacy program. She ensures Bombora’s compliance with applicable privacy laws through implementation of company-wide dedication to transparency, cooperation and data privacy by design.

Prior to joining Bombora, Havona was the Founding Partner of Madama Griffitts O’Hara. There, she provided business, litigation and IP counsel to entrepreneurs in entertainment and technology startups. Havona’s prior experience included advocacy for a clean planet (National Geographic Television), for fair trade (Department of Commerce, NAFTA Secretariat) and for transparency in government (Government Accountability Project).

Havona holds a J.D. and graduated cum laude from the University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law. She also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of New Mexico.

Havona is an advisor to the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, a member of the Flight Management Team for Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Chair of the Friends of St. Mary’s Park and an advocate for the International School of Brooklyn. She loves to travel and meet new people; all her interests follow a theme ‘be well by doing good’.
