Daniel Barbee

Daniel Barbee currently serves as the President of Mercy Health Rural Division Hospitals, overseeing facilities in Tiffin, Willard, and Defiance, Ohio, since April 2020. Concurrently, Daniel has held various leadership roles at The University of Toledo since February 2014, including Chief Executive Officer and Vice President of Clinical Services/Chief Operating Officer. Additionally, Daniel has been the Chief Operating Officer at University of Toledo Medical Center since March 2014 and has served as Chief Nursing Officer/Associate Executive Director there since December 2012. Daniel's extensive experience in healthcare leadership is further exemplified by a consistent role as Chief Nursing Officer at the University of Toledo since 2011.
