Eric Tharp

Eric Tharp has over 20 years of work experience in the finance and audit field. Eric is currently working as the Vice President of Treasury Debt Management at Bon Secours Mercy Health since 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Treasury Director at OhioHealth from 2017 to 2023. Eric also worked at Nationwide, where they served as a Treasury Manager from 2016 to 2017, Finance Rotation Program Leader from 2011 to 2016, and Financial Business Advisor from 2008 to 2011. Eric started their career as a Senior Internal Auditor at Alliance Data from 2006 to 2008, and before that at MI Homes, Inc as a Senior Internal Auditor from 2004 to 2005. Eric began their professional journey as an Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2001 to 2004.

Eric Tharp has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Risk Management from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Eric also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In addition, they have obtained certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Accountancy Board of Ohio - State of Ohio and as a Certified Treasury Professional from the Association for Financial Professionals.
