Katie Elliott has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Katie started their career in 2005 as an RN in the CVCU Stepdown Unit at CJW Medical Center, providing bedside care to post-op cardiac surgery patients. Katie worked there until 2007, during which they also served as a preceptor and charge nurse.
From 2007 to 2011, Katie worked as an RN and Clinical Nurse Expert in the Emergency Department at Henrico, Parham & Retreat Doctors' Hospitals. In this role, they provided care to patients, acted as a preceptor and charge nurse, and assisted with education and competencies.
