Kelli Chovanec

Kelli Chovanec, DNP, RN has extensive work experience in healthcare administration and nursing leadership roles. Kelli currently serves as the VP, Clinical Services for Population Health at Bon Secours Mercy Health since 2022. Prior to this, they were the System Director, Case Management at ProMedica from 2018 to 2022, where they were responsible for acute and ambulatory care navigation and case management for Medicare Elite and Commercial product lines. Before that, Kelli was the Director of Nursing Operations at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest Ohio LLC from 2017 to 2018. Kelli also served as the Senior Nursing Director, Care Coordination at the Cleveland Clinic from 2015 to 2017 and as the Director of Nursing at the University of Toledo Medical Center from 2014 to 2015. Kelli started their career at ProMedica as a Care Navigator from 2013 to 2014 and held various leadership roles, including Assistant Director of Nursing at the University of Toledo Medical Center from 2005 to 2013. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated progressive leadership experience in medical and surgical nursing.

Kelli Chovanec, DNP, RN has an extensive education history in the field of nursing. Kelli obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science of Nursing from the University of Toledo College of Nursing in 2005. In 2008, they pursued further education and completed their Master's in the Science of Nursing with a focus on Nursing Administration from the University of Phoenix. In 2020, they went on to earn their Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University. Additionally, they hold certifications such as Nurse Executive (NE-BC) from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and is a Registered Nurse licensed by the Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio Boards of Nursing.
