Sandra D. started their career as a Public Information Officer at the New York City Emergency Medical Service in 1987 and later became an Assistant Press Secretary at the New York City Health & Hospitals Corporation in 1993. In 1996, they worked as a Public Relations Consultant at Matlock & Associates and as a Marketing Manager at Mirant.
In 2004, Sandra joined Troutman Sanders as a Senior Marketing Manager before moving on to Emory Healthcare in 2005. At Emory Healthcare, they served as the Director of Marketing and later became the Executive Director of Market Strategy. During their time at Emory, Sandra established a digital marketing platform and developed integrated marketing strategies to support business goals.
In 2014, Sandra joined the Arthritis Foundation as the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Sandra D. successfully repositioned the brand and increased brand engagement while also establishing a sophisticated digital platform to engage consumers and generate leads.
Currently, Sandra is the Chief Marketing Officer at Bon Secours Mercy Health. In this role, they drive branding and marketing initiatives for the health system across multiple states. Sandra D. aligns marketing strategy with the mission, improves healthcare delivery, and builds affinity with consumers through various marketing channels.
