Adam Defendis

Adam Defendis is an experienced Senior Tax Accountant currently employed at The Bonadio Group since September 2018. Prior to this, Adam held similar positions at Thaney & Associates, CPAs, P.C., Harris RF Communications, Insero & Company CPAs, P.C., and EFP Rotenberg, LLP, where responsibilities included the preparation and review of various tax returns, as well as managing correspondence with the IRS and state agencies. Adam began a career in accounting as a Staff Accountant at Mengel, Metzger, Barr & Co., LLP, and Nacca & Capizzi, LLP, focusing on audits, reviews, and tax-related tasks. Adam earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from SUNY Brockport in 1999 and a Regents Diploma from the Aquinas Institute of Rochester in 1993.
