Patrick Westfall

Patrick Westfall has over 18 years of experience in research and development. Patrick began their career in 2002 as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, San Francisco. In 2003, they moved to the University of California, Berkeley as a Postdoctoral Fellow. In 2006, they joined Amyris Biotechnologies as a Senior Scientist. In 2012, they took on the role of Sr. Research Specialist - Advanced Technology Development at Dow AgroSciences. In 2015, they joined Zymergen, Inc. as a Senior Director. In 2020, they moved to Inscripta, Inc. as a Senior Director. Most recently, in 2022, they became the VP of Research and Development at Bond Pet Foods.

Patrick Westfall obtained their B.S. in Genetics from Purdue University between 1992 and 1996. Patrick then went on to earn their PhD in Botany from The University of Georgia between 1996 and 2001.
