Steven P. Block

Steven advises clients on all aspects of estate and elder law planning, including preparation of wills and trusts, and sophisticated tax and insurance planning. In addition, he assists clients in implementing intricate gift tax planning, including Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts, Qualified Personal Residence Trusts and Intentionally Defective Grantor Trusts, utilizing sale techniques where appropriate. Steven also provides counsel on probate matters, estate administration and tax planning, and Surrogate’s Court proceedings.

In addition to being an attorney, Steven is also a Certified Public Accountant and has extensive experience advising business clients on the organization, sale and liquidation of business entities, including the preparation of Shareholder Agreements, Family Limited Partnership Agreements and Limited Liability Company Operating Agreements.

Prior to joining Bond, Steven was a partner at Lazer, Aptheker, Rosella & Yedid. Steven is a frequent speaker and has lectured and been interviewed by the media on trust and estate and tax issues.
