Peter Clemence has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Peter started their career as a Senior IT Engineer at IBM in 1998 and then moved on to work as a Technical Architect, Project Manager, and Support personnel at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. After this, Peter became the Director and IT Consultant at Data Flow Pty Ltd, where they led a team of consultants and handled various administrative tasks.

In 2011, Peter became the Managing Director of Infinity Sponsorship, where they conceptualized and directed business and web projects. Peter also designed an online Learning Management System for a fundraising academy course.

In 2018, Peter joined Rapid Loans Ltd as a DevOps Manager and Engineer, where they managed a team and oversaw the design and implementation of business management and client management systems. Peter also supported multiple websites.

In 2021, Peter became the Tech Quality Assurance Manager at Ausloans Finance Group, responsible for developing a QA program and CI/CD pipeline. Peter also managed various IT support requests and marketing technical requirements.

Currently, Peter is working as the Applications Support Team Lead at Bond University since 2022.

Additionally, Peter has been volunteering as a Patrol Captain for Surf Life Saving Queensland since 2015, leading a team of volunteer lifesavers and receiving several awards for their contributions.

Peter Clemence has a diverse education history in the field of IT and business programming. In 1992, they obtained an Advanced Certificate in Business Programming from the Computer Power Training Institute. In 1990, they completed Year 12 at Erindale College, where they focused on IT and Mathematics. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1989, they completed Year 12 at Narrabunda College, specializing in IT. Additionally, Peter has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including Prince2 Foundations from ILX Group in 2016, Top Secret Positive Vet Clearance from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in 2001, Certified Lotus Professional (CLP) from Lotus Notes, Inc. in 1999, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer + Internet (MCSE+I) from the Computer Power Training Institute in 1998.
