Husein A. Alireza, OLY has a diverse work experience starting with their role as Captain at Saudi Rowing in 2018. In 2022, they joined NATCOM as a Business Development Manager, which is a subsidiary of Haji Husein Alireza & Co, known for providing IT systems integration services. In 2020, Husein became a Member of the Athletes Commission at Riyadh2034. Additionally, Husein co-founded Bondai, Inc. in 2018. Husein A. also had a role as an Accelerator at Cambridge Judge Business School from 2017 to 2018. Husein was a Scottish National Finalist at ClimateLaunchpad in 2016, a cleantech business idea competition. Before that, they served as the Middle East Ambassador for Nam Phuong Foundation from 2011 to 2016, where they focused on improving the lives of rural communities in Vietnam. Lastly, Husein had an internship at BLOM Bank France SA in 2013.
Husein A. Alireza, OLY pursued their education in several prestigious institutions. Between 2016 and 2017, they attended the University of Cambridge, where they obtained a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2016, they attended The University of Edinburgh, where they completed their undergraduate studies, earning an M.A. (Hons) degree in Business & Geography. During their time at The University of Edinburgh, they also attended Stanford University in 2015 for a Summer Quarter program focused on Data & Information Technology in Civil & Environmental Engineering.
Before their university education, Husein A. Alireza, OLY attended Charterhouse School from 2006 to 2012, where they completed their Cambridge Pre-U program. Additionally, they obtained several certifications from Stanford University, including a Certificate of Completion in International Management, a Certificate of Completion in Technology & Innovation, and they participated in the Stanford Environmental & Water Studies Summer Program (SEWSS) in 2015.
