David Stevens is the Head of Commercial Underwriting for the UK and Europe at Bondaval. They completed their ACII professional qualification in November 2016 and were promoted to Underwriter in the Trade Credit and Political Risk division at Markel International in July 2016 after starting as a Trainee Underwriter. David graduated from the University of Kent in 2012 with a BSc in Mathematics, having gained additional experience in Internal Audit and multiple underwriting divisions during their time there. Prior to their current role, they worked as an Underwriter and Senior Business Developer in Trade Credit at Markel International and held various positions at AEG Europe.
