Giacomo Lacchini

Giacomo Lacchini currently serves as the Industrial Gearboxes Design Manager at Bonfiglioli since February 2017, leading a team of 19 in the research and development of gearboxes. Previously, Lacchini held various roles at Bonfiglioli, including Head of Industrial Drives Testing and Senior Product Design Engineer. Prior experience includes a tenure at MOTOVARIO S.p.A. as Mechanical Research Manager, After-sales Technical Manager, and Computational and Mechanical Testing Manager, as well as positions at RAVAGLIOLI S.P.A. as Senior Designer, TEC Eurolab as FEM Consultant, and LAPCOS scarl as CAE Mechanical Analyst. Lacchini holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and has extensive expertise in gearbox design, testing, and technical support.
