David Abraham has had a varied career, beginning in 2003 when they worked in the White House Office of Management and Budget as an International Affairs and Natural Resources analyst. In 2007, they worked as a Research analyst at Lehman Brothers, followed by a role as Credit Analyst at RBS Sempra Commodities in 2009. In 2010, they were a Research Fellow at The University of Tokyo, and a Hitachi International Affairs Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. In 2008, they founded the ClearWater Initiative, where they served as CEO and Board member. David devised long-term solutions to clean water needs in rural African villages, and established and managed full-time operations in US and overseas offices. David transitioned the NGO into a domestic-focused NGO and changed its name. In 2011, they founded ClearWater Nippon. In 2016, they became a Senior Fellow at New America, and Co-Founder of Outpost, a next-generation travel and hospitality brand designed to meet the needs of remote professionals and digital nomads.
David Abraham attended The Fletcher School at Tufts University, where they obtained a MALD in International Economics. David also studied Advanced Lithuanian at Vilniaus universitetas / Vilnius University. Lastly, they obtained a BA in Psychology from Boston College.
