Curtis Johnson has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering industry since 2003. In 2003, they completed an internship with the US Army Corps of Engineers as a Park Ranger. In 2004, they completed an internship with Riley Creek Lumber as a Maintenance Mechanic. In 2005, they were a Welder/Fabricator at Carothers & Son Ltd. In 2007, they worked as a Maintenance Mechanic at States Industries. In 2008, they worked as a Maintenance Mechanic at Swanson Group Inc. In 2011, they worked as a Maintenance Technician at The Dannon Company. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as the Director of Facilities at Bonner General Health. Currently, they are the President of the Idaho Society for Healthcare Engineering, where they are responsible for developing training and education for all members in Idaho, advocacy in healthcare-related legislation and standards, and supporting the community of Healthcare Engineers in Idaho.
Curtis Johnson has an extensive educational background. Curtis is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Western Governors University, which they expect to complete in 2021. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Western Governors University in 2017. Curtis also obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) in General Education Requirements from Lane Community College in 2008. In 2005, they obtained a Maintenance Technical Certification from North Idaho College in Maintenance Mechanics. Additionally, they obtained certifications from the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) in NFPA 101, NFPA 110, and NFPA 99 in 2018, CompTIA Project+ in 2016, and OSHA Safety Certification in 2005.
