Laura J.

Laura J. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Laura is currently a Director of Workforce Strategy & Development at Bonneville Power Administration, where they have been since January 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief of Learning and Workforce Development at the same organization from May 2019 to January 2021.

Before joining Bonneville Power Administration, Laura was a Co-Owner at Oakwood Sport Horses LLC from June 2017 onwards. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Associate of Strategic Partnerships at The Partnering Initiative, starting in May 2015.

Laura also has experience at the Department of Defense, where they served as the Chief of Public Private Partnerships from June 2012 to May 2015. Prior to that, they worked as the Integrated Strategy and Policy Manager at the Department of Energy, specifically with the Bonneville Power Administration, from May 2009 to June 2012.

Laura's earlier career includes a role as the Director of Global Field Programs at Accenture Development Partnerships from August 2003 to August 2005. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Manager of Human Performance at Accenture from September 1998 to August 2003. Laura also has early career experience in various roles from December 1989 to September 1998.

Laura J. earned a PhD in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder from 2005 to 2012. Prior to this, they completed an MSc (Distinction) in Psychology and Research Methods at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2002 to 2004. In 1997 to 1999, Laura J. pursued an MBA at the London Business School. Laura began their educational journey by obtaining a BA in Social Sciences (Communication) from the University of Southern California from 1986 to 1989.
